Shiso Ume-shu is made with top of the line Nanko plums and pure sake. The vibrant red color comes from the infusion of red Shiso leaves
Tasting Notes- The sweetness of the plums is nicely balanced by the aromatic red shiso. Excellent on the rocks or with a splash of soda. Drink as an apertif, with dessert or pair it with a bit of something salty to bring out hidden complexity
The Brewery- Mori no Kura was founded in 1898. It is one of the first breweries to produce only junmai shu
